Adam Audio S2V Nearfield Monitor 2-way 7" Woofer

The Adam Audio S2V is a traditional two-way nearfield monitor suited for small- to medium-sized rooms.

The 7-inch bass driver, which was built specifically for the S Series, produces a strong, distortion-free bottom end with a broad dynamic range. It covers frequencies from 35 Hz to 3 kHz. The meticulously honed S-ART tweeter, handcrafted at the ADAM Audio plant in Berlin, works in perfect harmony with the recently created HPS waveguide to produce incredibly accurate imaging inside a generously sized sweet spot.

With a 300 W Class D amplifier driving the woofer and a 50 W Class A/B amplifier controlling the S-ART tweeter, the S2V offers remarkable power. The combined output generates SPLs of up to 120dB per pair.

The S Series' specially developed DSP offers user equalisation and in-room tuning/voicing functions in addition to optimising the loudspeaker crossovers to produce linear responses throughout the whole range. Additionally, the DSP manages the limiter-based high-frequency driver protection, analyses the data from the AES3 digital inputs, and will eventually support a number of expansion options. The connected USB port makes it simple to update software and may also be used to connect computers and use a software front-end to operate the speakers' DSP features.

The S2V is an excellent option for usage in demanding studio situations because of its extremely accurate frequency response and balanced, razor-sharp imaging, which enable users to identify even the slightest audio details.
