ADAM Audio designed the Sub2100 subwoofer specifically for the needs of big control rooms and studios. The Sub2100 combines a massive 21.5′′ woofer and a 1000W continuous power amplifier housed in a bass reflex enclosure calibrated to reproduce frequencies as low as 18Hz. Because of its enormous power and extraordinarily high efficiency (99dB/W/m), this system can create linear SPL peaks of 128dB without any appreciable compression.
The largest voice coil in the world
The massive 6" voice coil is critical to the loudness of this woofer. With this voice coil, the Sub2100 is capable of reaching the highest SPLs in the lowest frequencies. The Sub2100 sets a new standard in subwoofer technology on every level.
