The Groove Circuit feature allows for easy remixing by pressing dedicated buttons, enabling you to instantly swap out the drum sections of a track with new loops—even while it's playing. This allows you to transform tracks into different genres and create custom remixes on the fly. Adding effects to the drum parts will enable you to create dynamic fills, build-ups, and breakdowns effortlessly, allowing for innovative live performances with endless creative potential.

• Groove Circuit is available exclusively in rekordbox for Mac/Windows.
• For rekordbox on iOS/Android, the function integrates with the sampler and other features.
• In Serato DJ Pro, the function works with the Stems FX feature (see more details below).

Key Groove Circuit Features:

• Drum Swap: With the Drum Swap feature, you can easily swap the drum parts of the currently playing track with different drum loops at the touch of a button. This versatile feature allows you to experiment with a variety of sounds and styles, opening up a world of creative possibilities. To get started quickly, the DDJ-GRV6 comes with a free pack of 40 genre-spanning loops, ready to download and use straight out of the box.
• Drum Roll/Trans Effects: Instantly add drum rolls, transitions, and rhythmic fills by applying Roll or Trans effects to drum parts, letting you elevate your transitions and build-ups during a set.
• Drum Release: Use Release FX on drum sections to effortlessly create breakdowns, offering a smooth way to shift dynamics in your performance.
• Capture: Extract the drum parts of any loaded track and capture them for use in other tracks, allowing you to mix and match beats across your set.

Club-Standard Layout

The AlphaTheta DDJGRV6 is designed with a layout modelled after the latest club-standard equipment. It includes large jog wheels ideal for scratching, and 8 Performance Pads placed above the jogs—just like on the flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player. The mixer section features Beat FX from the DJM-A9, giving you the same feel and performance quality, you'd expect in a professional club setting. This setup allows you to combine precise scratching with pad techniques and effects, making your performances dynamic and engaging, perfect for club environments.

Intuitive Track Selection

The DDJ-GRV6 introduces the innovative Smart Rotary Selector, which offers multi-directional control—up/down, left/right tilting, and traditional rotation—when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows ver. 7. The left/right tilt lets you smoothly navigate the media browser, tree view, and track list, while the up/down motion speeds up browsing through playlists and extensive music collections. The Discover button provides instant access to the Track Suggestion feature, helping you quickly find hidden gems or uncover new tracks.

The Discover function is only available in rekordbox for Mac/Windows.

Remix Tracks with Serato DJ Pro's Stems FX

When using the DDJ GRV6 with Serato DJ Pro, you can use the Stems FX feature, allowing you to isolate and manipulate different elements of a track—such as drums, bass, vocals, or melody. You can apply effects like Roll, Trans, Echo Out, and Delay to these individual stems, giving you more creative control over your remixing. The included overlay sheet for the controller helps re-label buttons for easy access to Stems FX functions.
