Akai MPK Mini Plus 37-key Compact Keyboard Controller

The Akai MPK Mini plus is a keyboard controller with a 37-key keybed, eight RGB backlit MPC Pads and eight assignable rotary knobs. The MPKMINIPLUS also features a 2-track step sequencer, a transport control section, and dedicated pitch and modulation wheels.

In addition, there are MIDI, CV and Gate jacks, and to get you up and running, the keyboard controller includes MPC Beats Music Production Software that contains thousands of plugin instrument sounds and drum samples.

37 KEYS - GEN 2 DYNAMIC KEYBED

MPK Mini Plus has 37 keys with a Dynamic Keybed Gen 2 for increased melodic and harmonic creativity. Three full octaves for two-handed chords, arpeggiation, solos, and soundscapes on wonderfully playable keys with a broader velocity range and world-class note dynamics and responsiveness.

CREATIVE STEP/LIVE SEQUENCER / ARPEGGIATOR

When using your MPK Mini Plus during creative moments or jam sessions without a digital audio workstation, the inbuilt polyphonic 2-track step/live Sequencer records new melodic and percussion patterns on the go. In addition, eight polyphonic notes per step, 16 polyphonic notes per Drum Step, and an integrated Arpeggiator give you limitless creative possibilities.

REAL MPC DRUM PADS

Eight velocity-sensitive, RGB-backlit MPC Drum Pads serve as the foundation for performing dynamic rhythms and programming drums, as well as assigning programme adjustments and activating other CC settings.

ASSIGNABLE 360-ROTARY KNOBS

Adjust effects with the eight assignable, 360-degree rotating knobs for functions such as filters, automation, and pan controls. Adding precise automation to your songs will add depth and character.

CHORDS AND SCALES MODES

MPK Mini Plus has two settings that simplify and improve your performances perfectly. Chords Mode allows a single key to play numerous notes and inversions, while Scales Mode permits the keybed to play just notes from the set scale. In all modes, there are several creative choices and fifteen scale settings.

TRANSPORT CONTROLS

The Akai MPK Mini Plus has dedicated Transport Controls for complete DAW integration. Transport Controls include Play, Stop, loop, Record, and Locate buttons to help keep you involved in your creative process.

REAL PITCH AND MODULATION WHEELS

The MPK Mini Plus has specialised Pitch Bend and Modulation Wheel controls to bring any keyboard performance to life in light of the instrument's expanded key capacity.

ASSIGNABLE JOYSTICK CONTROLLER

Assign settings to the Joystick's X/Y axis and morph between effects to produce unique and intriguing textures in your compositions for even more creativity. From the keyboard, you may assign up to four parameters to the Joystick.

USB, 5-PIN MIDI, CV/GATE CONNECTORS

Sync to any Class-Compliant USB or 5-pin MIDI device to trigger and control the Euro-rack and other modular synthesisers through the CV/Gate connections and Sync I/O. The MPK Mini Plus is adaptable enough for any artist who wants to maximise the use of their chosen DAW, VST instruments, and analogue gear.

DAW CONTROL MAPPING

The MPK Mini Plus may be routed to your chosen DAW, such as Cubase, FL, Logic, or Ableton Live, providing you with complete portable creative control. Control your Transport, macros, mixing settings, and even write automation for your favourite plugin effects and instruments using this great tool.
