Yamaha proudly unveiled this special edition, acoustically matched HS7 studio monitors, celebrating 15 years of the award-winning HS range. Using a specific technique, each pair was specially manufactured. To ensure the best possible stereo imagery for a fully immersive sound, Yamaha pairs specially selected parts with matching serial numbers. Yamaha delivers this refined, matching style just when you felt the HS range couldn't get any better.

6.5-inch BI-Amplified Studio Monitor

For maximum audio fidelity, the Yamaha HS7 incorporates a broad range of premium-grade parts, including larger-than-normal magnets. When it comes to sound reproduction, the advanced magnetic field architecture guarantees extreme precision, paramount for mixing and mastering purposes. The 6.5" cone woofer and a 1-inch dome tweeter compose its 2-way bi-amplified architecture. 

For optimum performance, the two components are operated separately by dedicated amplifiers. A 60W amplifier is powered by the woofer, with a 35W amplifier driving the tweeter. And at higher sound levels, this ensures optimum audio efficiency.

The ultra-wide frequency range and cutting-edge technology make it ideal for mixing and mastering purposes, ensuring you capture every detail from your source audio. The resulting tone, while maintaining the natural harmonic content of your tone, is a highly defined low-end, with smooth highs. The dome tweeter contains a thick waveguide to reduce vibration, offering a high-end response that is smooth and distortion-free.

Sleek, Robust Design with Versatile Connectivity

For enhanced efficiency, the durable enclosure is designed to remove unwanted resonances. For fast and easy monitoring of your parameters, the design is built-to-last with an ergonomic layout on the rear of the display. It also features XLR and TRS phone jack inputs, which support balanced or unbalanced signals, suitable for audio interface sound routing. There is also a main level attenuator on the rear of the studio monitor, varying from a minimum of -10dB, ensuring maximum audio quality no matter the volume.
