The large high definition 10.1-inch screen serves as the visual centre for all your control functionality. The SC6000M PRIME comes with crate management software that lets you make adjustments to all your music organisation right from the unit. Additionally, this player recognises libraries from all the major DJ file management software like Traktor, Serato, Rekordbox, and Denon's proprietary software - Engine PRIME.
The SC6000M comes with a whole host of performance effects that are designed to provide you with an arsenal of tools to suit DJs of all styles. The performance pads are ultra-responsive in design and control a selection of effects such as hot cues, roll, loop, and slicer functions. Denon DJ has included some brilliantly designed software-based effects such as harmonic mixing and time-stretching algorithms. You can shift your music to a key of your choosing, or you can select the instant match feature which is designed to create harmonically perfect mixes with the touch of a button. The time-stretch algorithm is free from artefacts and gives one of the smoothest results you will ever hear from a DJ player.
Integrating the SC6000M Prime Media Players with the X1850 DJ Mixer creates a match made in heaven. The X1850 acts as a LAN hub for up to 4 SC6000M players and transmits vital data such as tempo data so you can take advantage of that mixers BPM FX unit. You can also use this player in Serato DJ Pro controller, so Serato users aren't compromising. The SC6000M can be 2 decks in 1, thanks to the dual-layer functionality. This lets users playback two tracks at the same time via the digital and analogue outputs.
The SC6000M can play a variety of uncompressed audio types from the 3 USB drive inputs. WAV, FLAC, ALAC, MP3, OGG - no matter what preference you have, the SC6000M will most likely play it. You can also turn your player into a streaming device from which to play and perform your music libraries. Either by connecting to wifi are using the ethernet connection on the back, you can stream music through the TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Soundcloud Go, and Beatsource.

Engine DJ has released a new operating system update in version 3.1. It brings new and improved features and a series of fixes. This update ensures Engine DJ OS remains powerful and upholds its status as a dominant performance software. New features include Touch FX with new effects and touchscreen interaction, Main FX with twenty-six new and updated effects, Frequency parameter, a range of new Sampler features and the introduction of Smartlists, which organise songs automatically using pre-set rules from all connected devices. The Engine version 3.0 update has a New Drop Sampler for Standalone DJ Systems and Media Players. This is a first within the industry and was previously only available via software on a laptop or via a dedicated sampler hardware unit. Eight slots are available to store and trigger drums, drops, FX, risers and more across all Engine DJ hardware devices. Denon DJ has announced a new Engine DJ software update with version 2.4. The latest update brings some new key features and improvements to the Operating System (OS) and Desktop.
In relation to Engine DJ OS, some new features have been added, including a new full-screen Beat Grid editor, expanding the editing features to standalone units, Auto Loop and Beat Jump size controls can now be linked and unlinked, Temp Cue position can be set whilst the deck is playing as long as the deck platter is engaged, there is now HFS+ support for the Denon SC6000 and SC6000M and an option to send Mic to Zone output on the PRIME 4. In addition, many other improvements and enhancements are made within this latest update.
In relation to the Engine DJ desktop, new features have been added, including locating missing files via a manual or automated process, additional support for Apple Silicon chipsets, an enhanced Sync Manager track removal performance, and macOS 13 (Ventura) support added. Again, this latest software update includes many additional improvements and stability enhancements.

Engine DJ 2.0 is the latest Firmware update that offers an entirely new database, new Engine Lighting by SoundSwitch and brand new Ableton Link Wireless communication connection. In addition, several improvements and fixes have also been added to the update to fix issues brought to Denon DJs attention. The latest update comes in two formats, one for the Operating System and the Desktop platform. Both arrangements are designed for a faster and more streamlined style.
The main characteristics of the Engine DJ 2.0 firmware update brought for the SC6000M are new playlists, a new database, a new user interface (desktop), new streaming service upgrades, a new Control Centre Menu and a new Playlist Deck with Crossfade.
Denon DJ's PRIME DJ Media Players have been updated to work with the new version of Serato DJ Pro, version 2.4.6. The SC6000 and SC6000M now include Serato integration, providing DJs with coloured moving waveforms, 4-deck control, and essential track info while improving their innovative performance capabilities. Denon's latest Engine v1.6 Update enables DJs to access Dropbox and Beatsource Streaming service for DJs straight from any Engine OS compatible device. Engine OS v1.6 also features stacked waveform view for dual-layer mixing on the SC6000 media players, in addition to two highly requested features: track preview and flexible beat grids for all the prime series products. Alongside Engine OS is a Denon DJ Engine PRIME desktop update which opens Dropbox integration, flexible beat grid support, macOS 11 Big Sur compatibility, Rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro beat grid import (static & dynamic), as well as several extra usability enhancements and stability improvements.
