The Rane Performer is a 4-channel motorised DJ controller with RANE's industrial build quality and legacy sound, ideal for creative mixing and displaying skills. This controller is ideal for prioritising performance, with high-torque motorised platters, increased stem control, a MAG FOUR crossfader, and 4 Precision Feel volume faders.
Rane Performer Features
The Performer DJ Controller has 7" high torque die-cast aluminium platters and acrylic discs that respond like vinyl. The discs, magnetically connected to the platters, offer steady and accurate feedback. Each platter features a high-definition 3.5" LCD screen that displays deck information, waveforms, record artwork, and library views. There is a Day Mode option which reverses contrast to provide a clear view in sunlight.
The Performer mixing section includes 4 Precision Feel faders and an adjustable MAG FOUR crossfader. The adjustable tension faders use the same twin rail mechanical arrangement as the MAG FOUR, but are positioned vertically on the circuit board. This results in an ultra-smooth, reliable, and constant reaction when playing. The faders may be further customised in the onboard menu, allowing you to reverse them and alter the cut-in curve from 0 to 100%.
Stems
This Rane DJ Controller is the ultimate tool for innovative open format DJing, with four distinct stem control options. It includes Rane's Stem Split feature, which automatically separates acapella and instrumental parts into two mixer channels. This allows you to add FX to specific elements and customise them on the fly. Stem Level converts each channel's 3 band EQ into adjustment knobs, allowing you to modify, kill, or increase specific aspects.
Increased FX Functions
Over 25 fully customisable Main FX and 4 knob-controlled Channel FX provide flexibility and distinct flair. This powerful FX package includes both oldies like Reverb and Echo, as well as newer options like Scale Down, Recycler, and Riser. The Rane Seventy A-TRAK Signature Edition mixer's fader FX suite is now compatible with the Performer. Precision Feel volume faders can now function as linear controls for roll, pitch, and ring modulation. Switch seamlessly between built-in hardware FX and Serato's software FX to suit your preferred style.
