Introducing the Pioneer PLX-500 Direct Drive DJ Turntable, the new premium-quality turntable that delivers the pristine quality you expect from vinyl.
The PLX-500 inherits the same precision build quality of the older PLX-1000 model and offers superior analogue quality. You can now digitise you beloved vinyl collection in high-quality WAV format, not only that, it is simple and easy. Not only that, rekordbox detects silence between tracks and creates a separate file so you can record a whole album without resetting your recording.
The PLX-500's short audio routing from the stylus direct to your output means that distortion is significantly reduced. The phono and line outputs allow you to connect your turntable directly to your powered speakers/sound system.
The high-torque design of the Pioneer PLX500 make this the ideal DJ turntable for mixing and scratching, so combine this with a high-performance battle mixer and you have a perfect setup for scratch DJs. In addition, you can combine this with the rekordbox DVS plus pack to perform with digital files (must be used with the RB-VS1 Control Vinyl and a compatible DJM mixer).
Superior Analogue Quality
The PlX-500 inherits the same superior quality analogue playback of the previous 1000 model. Also, the short routing from the stylus to the outputs reduces distortion.
Digitise your vinyl collection
You can connect your PLX-500 to your laptop, via USB, for use w2ith rekordbox software. What this enables is you to digitise your vinyl collection in high-quality WAV format and rekordbox software automatically detects silence between tracks and splits the audio recording into a new file. So you can record an entire album in separate tracks all without having to reset your settings.
High-torque direct drive turntable
The high-torque, direct-drive PLX-500 is perfect for mixing and scratching. Combine it with the rekordbox dvs Plus Pack to play and perform with your digital files when using a compatible DJM mixer and the RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl (available separately).
Layout inherited from the PLX-1000
The PLX-500 inherits its slick design from the professional PLX-1000 turntable and you can choose between the black (PLX-500-K) and white (PLX-500-W) versions to match the colour of your gear or the interior of your home.
Dust cover with record sleeve stand
You can enjoy the vinyl sound of your records and their artwork at the same time thanks to the dust cover that incorporates a stand for displaying record sleeves when open.
