When compared to scratch specific slipmats the Mix Edition mats are noticeably thicker and have been designed to resist shock and agitation. The super sturdy anti-static slipmats also help minimise noise that’s made when controlling the record providing you with smoother mixes and performances. These slipmats are slightly shorter in diameter to prevent the slipmat from sticking to the vinyl when switching records, and although scratching is still possible with the Mix Edition mats, you may want to add additional slip sheets underneath for a looser feel.
