Ableton Live 12 is a dynamic and versatile software designed for music production and live performances. The software offers a wide range of effects, instruments, sounds, and creative tools, enabling users to compose music of any genre.
Utilise Live's vast collection of instruments and effects to create unique sounds, or modify pre-made Packs to create something fresh. The software's real-time capabilities and high level of customisation make it perfect for live performances and interactive use, regardless of your setup.
Organise your music in Live 12 by use the linear Arrangement View for sequencing, or the Session View for improvising and exploring ideas without being restricted to a schedule. Adjust the tempo and timing of audio in real time without disrupting the music by utilising Live's warping feature. Utilise Live's creative features to enhance your performance, produce new ideas, or transform spontaneous moments into music by recording MIDI or live instruments, vocals, or other sounds. Utilise MIDI Transformations to introduce modifications to your patterns, and MIDI Generators to create new concepts that can be used into your own compositions. Utilise Sound Similarity to recognise presets and sounds that closely like the ones you are currently working on.
Live 12’s new features include enhanced MIDI transformations and generators, sound similarity, adaptable tuning systems, improved keys and scales, introduction of new devices (Roar, Meld’s Twin sound engines and Granulator III), MIDI editor enhancements, workflow enhancements, improved accessibility and navigation and new packs in the form of a Performance Pack, Lost and Found collection and two drum packs from Sound Oracle.
