HK Audio Linear 3 L3112XA 12-Inch Active Multi-Functional Loudspeaker

The HK Audio Linear 3 L3112XA is an active multi-functional loudspeaker that comes equipped with a large 12-inch woofer alongside a digital signal processor that ensures you’ll always get the best sound possible while a Class D amplifier gives you a huge sound. The L3112XA is perfect for a range of applications and works great as a satellite speaker, a front of house speaker, or on-stage floor monitor. This speaker is ideal for mobile DJs, bands, musicians, club and bar venues, conferences, theatres, schools and colleges, and music venues.

The Linear 3 L3112XA speaker comes equipped with a 12-inch low-frequency woofer as well as a 1-inch mid/high-frequency tweeter; both drivers work in perfect harmony to deliver a broad frequency response that ranges from 62 Hz – 18 kHz. The bi-amplified speaker comes equipped with a Class D amplifier that provides you with 1200w of peak power and delivers an impressive sound pressure level of 135dB. Built-in active protection circuits work to ensure the speaker will not damage itself and include a thermal protector with a look ahead temperature control, under-voltage and over-current protection, a subsonic filter, and a short circuit protector. There are also peak, RMS, and multiband limiters that make sure you won’t damage the speaker with an overloaded or loud signal.

An integrated digital signal processor ensures you will always get the best sound possible and provides you with four EQ presets that allow you to set up the speaker for different applications. EQ presets include bass boost, low-frequency flat, mid/high-frequency flat, and contour. An intelligent multi-band limiter works to ensure tonal integrity at every volume level while an adjustable FIR crossover filter provides you with an excellent sound when used alongside a subwoofer. The super low total harmonic distortion means your audience will not experience listening fatigue while the directional drivers aim to reduce reflections off of walls and ceilings.

The rear panel on the L3112XA comes with a range of audio connections that allow you to connect to a wealth of audio equipment such as microphones, instruments, and mixers. The connections include two ¼-inch TRS Jack/XLR combo inputs as well as a stereo RCA input, two XLR thru outs for linking multiple speakers, and an XLR mix output. The heavy-duty cabinet features a highly-durable construction made from thick 16mm thick MDF wood and finished with textured acrylic enamel that is designed to withstand rigours of everyday on-stage use. A metal grille covers the drivers and is backed with acoustically transparent foam that ensures no dust or dirt will enter the system. Two integrated handles allow you to move the speaker between gigs easily.
