HK Audio Linear 3 LSUB1800A 18-Inch Active Subwoofer

The HK Audio LSUB1800A is a robust active bass reflex subwoofer that delivers a punchy low-end and unrivalled power. A Class D amplifier works effortlessly to provide you with a huge sound that is perfect for a range of applications and works excellently alongside the HK Linear 3 series loudspeakers. A series of active protection circuits prevent the system from overloading and overdriven signals. This subwoofer is the perfect companion for mobile DJs, club and bar venues, schools and colleges, music venues, theatres, bands, musicians, conferences, and events productions.

The LSUB1800A is equipped with a large 18-inch woofer that offers a massive low-end extension and delivers a frequency response that ranges from 38 Hz – 160 Hz. A 1200w Class D amplifier works seamlessly to provide you with an exceptional sound pressure level that is able to reach 132dB giving you the power you need for large audiences. Integrated active protection circuits help prevent the system from overloaded and overdriven signals and include a thermal protector, under-voltage and over-current protection, and a subsonic filter that eliminates subsonic frequencies from building up. An additional peak limiter ensures the drivers will not blow from an overdriven signal.

The rear panel on the LSUB1800A is fitted with two ¼-inch TRS Jack/XLR inputs that let you connect microphones, instruments, and mixers directly to the system. Two XLR thru outputs allow you to link multiple speakers to the system so you can effectively daisy chain speakers together while two XLR mid/high outputs let you connect directly to satellite speakers. The highly-durable enclosure features a 16mm thick MDF cabinet that is finished with acrylic enamel and is built to withstand the stresses of everyday on-stage use. A metal grille that protects the driver and is backed with acoustically transparent foam that prevents dust and dirt from entering the system. Four multi-grip handles let you easily transport the subwoofer while an M20 pole mount allows you to mount a satellite speaker directly on top of the sub.
