The PRX912 was created to take advantage of the most recent JBL acoustic advances, from cone to cabinet. A proprietary JBL 2408H-2 1.5" compression driver with poly-annular diaphragm and neodymium magnet delivers crisp, precise high-frequency performance even at maximum volume. When a transducer's thermal limit is being approached, high-quality NTC thermistors reduce the power provided to the transducer to safeguard it. New, creative horns with upgraded JBL Image Control Waveguides are used for the best beamwidth and directivity. An advanced woofer with a ferrite magnet produces natural, fluid bass and mids.

The Power that Works for You

PRX900 systems easily support large performance areas with demanding power and performance requirements. Even at maximum volume, the PRX912 delivers acoustic clarity and definition with minimum power compression thanks to its highly effective 2,000W (peak) Class D power amp. A power factor correction (PFC) power supply stabilises the voltage load provided to the amplifier. At the same time, a bridged woofer amp prevents current spikes from entering the ground and reduces crosstalk harmonics to the compression driver. Inductors of superior quality and excellent linearity provide good power efficiency and little total harmonic distortion, and input gain staging with low noise and low distortion maximises range and headroom for various gain requirements. Near-lossless audio conversion is made possible with a good DAC and ADC. Additionally, system noise is almost nonexistent thanks to a full-bandwidth CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) rating of more than 55 dB and a THD (total harmonic distortion) rating of 32 dB.

With Class-Leading DSP, Set your Sound

The integrated full-colour LCD and JBL Pro Connect app provide PRX912's extensive DSP access. Processing consists of optimised system presets and a 12-band parametric EQ. For perfect time-aligned systems, onboard dbx DriveRack technology offers live and fixed Automatic Feedback Suppression, soft system limiters, and 180ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond intervals.

Scalable and Flexible

To accommodate the demands of both mobile scenarios and stationary installations, combine loudspeakers and subwoofers from the PRX900 Series in various configurations. Six M10 suspension points and two 36mm pole sockets are included in the PRX912 model. An integrated gyrosensor automatically optimises tuning depending on where the display or mains are placed.

Pro Connect Ecosystem Component

The JBL Pro Connect app includes BLE technology for line connection with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 loudspeakers and system control of up to 10 speakers. Users may silence channels and speakers with the touch of a button, change speaker names, and flash all unit LEDs for quick speaker identification thanks to the app's complete access to the DSP package of the PRX900 Series. Speaker groupings and snapshots are app-only capabilities.

Adaptable and Roadworthy

A sturdy, lightweight shell that maximises acoustic performance and durability houses PRX912 components. Its cabinet is made of a polypropylene/talcum blend optimised for rigidity and has an internal ribbing design that was computer-simulated for optimum structural integrity and low cabinet noise.

To ensure systems function above expectations in real-world circumstances, the PRX912 goes through an industry-leading 100-hour stress test of all components, just like every other JBL product. Because of its extreme dependability, it comes with a seven-year warranty.
