Power that Works for You

PRX900 systems support big performance areas with high power and performance requirements with ease. PRX915 provides acoustic clarity and definition with little power compression, even at maximum volume, thanks to a highly efficient 2,000W (peak) Class D power amp. A bridged woofer amplifier minimises current spikes from reaching the ground and reduces crosstalk harmonics to the compression driver, while a power factor correction (PFC) power supply stabilises the voltage load provided to the amplifier. Inductors with excellent power efficiency and low total harmonic distortion are used, and low-noise, low-distortion input gain staging optimises range and headroom for a wide variety of gain requirements. Near-lossless audio conversion is provided by a high-quality DAC and ADC. System noise is nearly non-existent, with a full-bandwidth CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) more than 55 dB and a THD (total harmonic distortion) rating of 32 dB.

The PRX915 features extensive DSP that is accessible via the JBL Pro Connect app and onboard full-colour LCD. 12-band parametric EQ and optimised system presets are included in the processing. For accurate time-alignment, onboard dbx DriveRack technology includes live and fixed Automatic Feedback Suppression, soft system limiters, and 180ms of speaker delay in 100-microsecond intervals.

Scalable and Adaptable

Combine PRX900 Series loudspeakers and subwoofers in a variety of configurations to fulfil the demands of mobile and fixed installations. The PRX915 has two 36mm pole sockets and six M10 suspension points. A built-in gyrosensor optimises system settings based on monitor or power location.

JBL Pro Connect

The JBL Pro Connect app includes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology for system control of up to ten speakers as well as line integration with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 loudspeakers. The software gives users complete access to the DSP package of the PRX900 series, and users may simply mute channels and speakers with the touch of a button, change speaker names, and flash all unit LEDs for easy speaker identification. Speaker snapshots and groupings are app-only capabilities.
