Kanto Audio TUK 5-Inch Loudspeakers

The Kanto Audio TUK loudspeakers work to deliver clarity and a pristine audio performance that puts these bookshelf speakers into a class of their own. The TUK speakers have been finely tuned and come with a wealth of exceptional features which include an onboard Digital Signal Processor, high-performance AMT tweeters, and 5.25-inch aluminium drivers. A range of connectivity options means you can easily connect to a variety of audio equipment to the speakers and makes them highly versatile so you can enjoy all of your devices.

The TUK loudspeakers come fitted with 5.25-inch aluminium concave cone drivers that operate at optimal efficiency thanks to their high-rigidity and low mass while simultaneously reducing distortion at higher volumes. The high-performance AMT tweeters work excellently to deliver brighter, super-accurate high frequencies with a wide horizontal dispersion with an improved stereo imaging and a broad soundstage. An active crossover works to improve the low-end response further when connected to a subwoofer, the crossover filters out frequencies below 80 Hz and sends them directly to your subwoofer. Offloading these frequencies enhances the resolution while also reducing distortion.

A robust digital signal processor is designed to optimise the speaker’s performance and improves the audio quality providing you with super-accurate sound reproduction. A Class D amplifier delivers an impressive 260w of peak power and helps provide a frequency response that ranges between 50 Hz – 20 kHz providing you with the entire audible frequency spectrum. A range of inputs allows you to connect to a wealth of audio sources and includes Bluetooth connectivity with Qualcomm aptX HD and AAC for wirelessly connecting to your devices. Other inputs include a USB input, an optical TOSLINK input, and two RCA inputs of which one features a dedicated phono pre-amp. Outputs include a subwoofer output and a 3.5mm headphone output as well as a USB 5v 2A charging port.

The TUK speakers come with an automatic power-down feature that turns the speakers to standby when no signals have been detected after a while, when a signal is detected again the speaker will automatically power up again; the auto standby feature can be disabled if required. Supplied with the speaker system is a wireless remote control that comes with a range of functionalities and allows you to make rapid input changes as well as adjust the volume, tone and balance of the speakers and when connected via Bluetooth you can control the playback. Also supplied are magnetic speaker grilles that can easily be attached to the front of the speakers covering the aluminium woofers keeping them protected against any accidents.
