As a special edition for its 20th anniversary, the microKORG Crystal Synthesizer presents a fresh and exquisitely modern take on the now-classic synth. Twenty years ago, the microKORG was released with a revolutionary new micro-keybed, a powerful Vocoder, and ready-to-use sounds appropriate for modern genres, resulting in innumerable hit performances and instantly revolutionising how musicians played. Moreover, this powerful little synthesizer got synthesis into the hands of many people who didn't play keyboards and gave us the method of making music that we use every day without giving it a second thought. It is designed for amateurs and professionals alike and is now an integral component in studios of all sizes worldwide.
The original microKORG was introduced in 2002, and it's still going strong after all this time. Numerous songs and artists have taken advantage of its incredible range of sounds, and it remains one of the most popular options for performers and producers alike. The microKORG Crystal is the best revision of this classic synthesizer to date.
microKORG Crystal Features
The KORG microKORG Crystal comes with a 37 Key keyboard, 128 programs, three types of Modulation effects, three types of delay, an Equalizer, six kinds of Arpeggiator and four voices. Some flexible connection options include AUDIO IN and Level Switch LINE/MIC inputs L/MONO, R, Headphones outputs and MIDI IN, OUT and THRU. In addition, a small LED display provides vital feedback at a glance.
microKORG Crystal Design
The microKORG Crystal is an innovative twist on the original microKORG, featuring a semi-translucent chassis that exposes the instrument's inner workings and electronics to the user. The controllers' buttons, dials, and wheels are also partially see-through.
The microKORG Crystal's front panel has a stainless mirror surface, which pairs beautifully with the instrument's semi-translucent knobs and dials to create a unique look and feel among musical instruments.
The original microKORG's analogue-modelled synthesizer engine featured wooden side panels that gave it a retro vibe. This new microKORG model has been outfitted with aluminium side panels for a modern, uncluttered appearance.
Finally, the microKORG Crystal Synth has a dedicated, transparent carry bag to transport the unit while protecting it efficiently.
