Primacoustic RX5-UF Recoil Stabiliser

The Primacoustic RX5-UF Recoil Stabiliser is a nearfield monitor mounting device that is designed to reduce undesirable resonance from surfaces and low-frequency driver movements. It sits nicely between the speaker and the shelf, desk or stand to absorb unwanted vibrations whilst providing a stable base.

The platform is constructed using high-density urethane foam, heavy ¼-inch laser-cut steel plate to add substance and a thin neoprene surface with a non-slip coating to ensure stability. In total, four elements make up the RX5s; isolation foam, steel platform, retention pad and curved front panel.

Isolation Foam – high-density open cell acoustic foam which provides sound isolation to eradicate blending between surface and loudspeaker.

Steel Platform – ¼-inch (6mm) laser-cut steel platform stabilises and provides firmness to keep the nearfield monitor in place.

Retention Pad – the neoprene surface is thin with a non-slip coating which secures the monitor and provides maximum signal transfer.

Curved Front Panel – this panel eliminates standing waves and adds mass without it being too overly bulky.

Through using the RX5UF, you will notice extended low end, increased frequency detail, improved transient response, increased punch and a more detailed depth of field. UF stands for Up Fire which introduces a 10° degree angle that better directs the tweeter to the listening position. This is a great choice if the speaker monitor is on fixed shelving or desks.
