The Laserworld FX-700 Hydro is a waterproof RGB white-light laser lighting effects unit designed for outdoor use. Many laser dots in different colours, including white, are projected, along with fade and strobe effects.
It is powerful at 700 mW yet has been classed as a 3R laser system (low powered enough not to cause harm to the eyes) thanks to its distribution of power to all the numerous dots.
The FX700 Hydro can cover a large area thanks to the deflection, which has an approximately 60° angle. In addition, the multi-mirror deflection unit can rotate in both directions and at varying speeds. This can be controlled through the rear panel menu or DMX.
The unit and its control knobs are all waterproof to the specification of IP65. No fans are used to cool the unit down and instead is passively cooled. A long 5m is included to allow for outdoor power connections, DMX in and DMX through.
