The OLED screen adds to the keyboard’s operability, making it quick and easy to search and test your sounds, map controls, as well as helping to mix and edit your sessions and projects. Utilise Latch or Momentary mode provided from the on-board Arpeggiator that will influence anything you play from any virtual instrument, making it easy to match styles.

Smart Control

M-Audio has updated the Hammer 88 Pro to feature their brand-new Smart Chord and Smart Scale technology. These powerful tools will assist your production, so there are no more limits to your creativity, set your parameters and experience a seamless performance. Smart Chord allows the user to play full chords with a single key, making production more efficient and customising each key’s chord structure.

Smart Scale technology allows you to choose from 16 variations of scales to play only notes in the select scale. No longer will you make the mistake of playing ‘wrong’ notes or chords. Easily activate and deactivate this feature on the fly, so you can stay focused on producing, helping you become more efficient.

Next Generation Sound

The Note Repeat feature produces a repeated rhythmic pattern in relation to the chosen note, with options to use the feature in Latch mode or activated momentarily, offering various production and live sound techniques that will allow you to bring your sound to the next level.

Adjust the on-board Arpeggiator’s timing and rhythm by changing the time-division setting found on your keyboard or adjusting your DAW’s tempo setting to find the optimal range. Determine the length at which each note is played by controlling the time-division settings.

The advanced custom key bed has been developed to include Assignable Aftertouch, allowing users to have greater expressive control over their production and DAW. It enables you to change the feel and dynamic of a production piece by scanning for changes in pressure to each keypress, influencing the mood and emotion delivered from each note and key.
