The M-Audio Oxygen 61 MK4 is a USB MIDI keyboard controller that comes fitted with 61-velocity sensitive, synth action keys. This MIDI Keyboard controller features a range of assignable controls that give you hands-on control over your sound and lets you get super-expressive with your playing style. There are nine fully-assignable faders, eight rotary controls, and eight performance pads that give you total control over your software and let you stay in your creative flow whether you’re composing, recording, or mixing without needing to reach for your computer mouse. The 61-velocity-sensitive keys let you play chords, bass lines, and melodies while the trigger pads let you trigger drum loops and one-shots for finger drumming. The eight assignable knobs allow you to quickly tweak your VSTs and effects plug-ins while the nine faders let you effectively mix your tracks volumes and feature a master output volume fader. Dedicated transport controls mean you can play, stop, and record in your DAW directly from the MIDI keyboard.

The Oxygen-61 MK4 provides you with out-of-the-box integration with many popular DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason, and many more. Using M-Audio’s DirectLink Oxygen 61’s controls will instantly map themselves to your DAWs key parameters; this allows you to tweak mixer levels, editors, and transport controls immediately. Also, the Oxygen 61 MkIIII features built-in customisation mapping presets that rapidly interface the Oxygen 61 with your favourite virtual instruments and effects plug-ins. Setting up a MIDI controller with your software does not get any more comfortable than the Oxygen series. For ease-of-use and a highly-portable setup, all oxygen controllers are powered via class compliant, USB connections and fully support USB-MIDI connectivity. Plus you also get support iOS connectivity when used alongside the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit so you can perform and compose with audio apps on your iPad and other iOS devices.

Supplied with the Oxygen-61 is a copy of Ableton Live Lite, one of the most popular performance and production programs available, and allows you to get to creating music straight out of the box immediately. Ableton Live Lite enables producers and musicians to instantly compose, record, remix, improvise and edit musical ideal all inside of a fluid audio/MIDI environment. Use the Oxygen 61 to produce, compose, and perform inside of Ableton, when you’re finished Live Lite lets you save and mix down your tracks.

Also supplied is SONiVOX TWIST, a spectral morphing synthesis virtual instrument that consists of a dynamic interface alongside an advanced pattern generator, and onboard effects that allow you to generate seriously twisted sounds using an array of straightforward controls. Two swirling sound layers provide you with unique harmonic controls and help form the basis of every patch. A multi-mode filter, independent amp and filter envelope generators, and an LFO that can be synchronised to any tempo allowing you to sculpt your sound exactly as you please.

Finally, MPC Beats is a fully featured DAW, with its full collection of virtual instruments - TubeSynth, Electric, and Bassline, 80 FX plugins including the new AIR Channel Strip and Half Time and 2GB of factory content with Bonus F9 instruments library.
