Primacoustic RX12-HF Recoil Stabiliser

The Primacoustic RX12-HF Recoil Stabiliser is a nearfield monitor mounting device that is designed to reduce unwanted resonance from surfaces and low-frequency driver movements. It sits perfectly between the speaker and the shelf, desk or stand to absorb unwanted vibrations whilst providing a stable base.

The platform is constructed with high-density urethane foam, heavy ¼-inch laser-cut steel plate to add substance and a thin neoprene surface with a non-slip coating to ensure stability. Four elements in total make up the RX12s; isolation foam, steel platform, retention pad and curved front panel.

Isolation Foam – high-density open cell acoustic foam which provides sound isolation to eradicate blending between surface and loudspeaker.

Steel Platform – ¼-inch (6mm) laser-cut steel platform stabilises and provides firmness to keep the nearfield monitor in place.

Retention Pad – the neoprene surface is thin with a non-slip coating which secures the monitor and provides maximum signal transfer.

Curved Front Panel – this panel eliminates standing waves and adds mass without it being too overly bulky.

Through using the RX12HF, you will notice extended low end, increased frequency detail, improved transient response, more punch and a more detailed depth of field. HF stands for Horizontal Fire which is designed to fire sound straight out, on a horizontal plane.
