The innovative Akai MPD226 Midi Pad Controller has been ingeniously developed over several years of comprehensive customer research and user feedback. The result is the most interactive and user-friendly pad controller Akai Professional has developed to date.

The MPD226 Pad Controller has 16 Thick Fat RGB illuminated, velocity and pressure sensitive, MPC Pads.  64 assignable pads accessible via 4 banks and is iOS compatible using the Camera Connection Kit which can be purchased at an additional cost. The MPD226 is sleek, lightweight and sturdy enough that you can throw it in your bag and know it will survive even the roughest journeys. Additionally, MPC Beats is now included.

The Akai MPD226 can be effortlessly programmed via the included Preset Editor, so musicians of any level can improve their performance instantaneously. This is one of the many things that differentiate the Akai MPD226, 218 and 232 midi pad controllers from everything else on the market.
