The Roland SP-404MKII Sampler is an efficient beat-making machine designed for production and performance. It features a vivid OLED display, brand new performance pads, enhanced effects, streamlined sequencing and sampling and a vast sound library.

The vivid OLED display is ideal for visual waveform editing and accessing the full menu, whilst the 17 RGB pads are velocity-sensitive with a no-click design ensuring smooth playability. In addition, the sampler has a 16GB internal storage, fast workflow, quick start-up and load times, rapid sample editing and low latency pads.

The SP404 MKII features a whole range of onboard effects, including SP classics such as new Lo-fi, Vinyl Simulator and DJFX Looper, Resonator effects and Cassette Simulator. Additionally, there is a dedicated Vocoder, Auto Pitch and Guitar Amp Simulator effects exclusively for the mic/guitar input. There are 32 voice polyphony, 16 internal projects for extended programming possibilities and 160 samples per project.

The sound library is pre-loaded with 144 high-quality professional samples and patterns. The onboard sample editing is fantastic with auto BPM detect, real-time or auto-chop mode, pitch shifty, envelope and resampling perfect for layering sounds and phrases.
