Circuit Rhythm is a standalone sampler for the modern beatmaker that is both powerful and versatile. Samples can be recorded directly to hardware, then cut, sculpted, reversed, looped, resampled, and played chromatically all inside the box. Grid FX invigorates the live shows with effects like lo-fi tape, stutter, and beat repeat.
With the powerful and hands-on sequencer, you can easily go from a sample to a full beat with ease. Grooves can be quantized or recorded off-grid into the sequencer, and pattern mutate and probability controls keep your beats evolving.
Circuit Rhythm has full-size five-pin MIDI in, out, and through, as well as analogue sync out, making it the ideal next-gen sampler companion for any studio or live setup. You can make beats on the go with the built-in rechargeable battery, which lasts up to four hours, and Novation Components offers a platform for loading samples and backing up your work.
A three-year warranty is included.
If any Novation hardware has to be repaired or replaced due to a manufacturing error, you can count on a three-year warranty no matter where you are in the world.

Comprehensive connectivity

Circuit Rhythm Firmware Update v2.0
Circuit Rhythm’s 2.0 firmware update brings greater flexibility to beatmaking with editable
Grid FX, Beat Match and Fixed Length Recording, along with further improvements to
arrangement and the Sample Recording workflow.
With the new Beat Match feature, Circuit Rhythm owners can speed their samples up or
down to get drum breaks perfectly in time with their session and make beats flow
seamlessly. Fixed Length Recording lets users record samples in perfect time with their
current project. A new toggle in the Sample Record View lets creators choose between a
fixed length sample recording of 8, 16, 32, or 64 steps.
Beatmakers can create dynamic sonic performances and take control of grid FX parameters
directly from Circuit Rhythm using editable Grid FX. Patterns can be stored and muted track states to Scenes to quickly build an arrangement for their beat, without the need to have any empty patterns in a project.
New Circuit Rhythm Sample Expansion Pack
From mid-November 2021, all new and existing users can access Novation’s Circuit Rhythm Sample Expansion Pack, crammed with over 550 royalty-free sounds. In addition, there are six sample packs with a wide array of sounds ranging from vinyl cuts, soulful chords, beats and organic instrumentation.
- Coastline Bliss – grainy vinyl samples and tight beats.
- Trap Hop – dark hip-hop influences with warped sound design and tight trap beats.
- East Coast Soul – electric pianos, vibrant chord progressions and shimmering digital leads.
- Wonky Hip Hop – intimate guitars, tight hip-hop beats and smooth bass lines.
- Neo Soul – laid-back beats, stunning top lines and organic neo-soul instrumentation.
- Daybreak Trap – bass-heavy pack with chill guitar melodies, deep sub-basses and tight trap beats.
The new Circuit Rhythm Samples Expansion can be downloaded and imported from Novation Components. Further updates and samples will continue to be added so that you can let your inspiration and creativity flow.
