Novation Launch Control XL is the ultimate Ableton Live controller, whether you need a device for easy control over macro effects or to mix channels quickly, the XL is perfect for you. This is also a great addition for any live performer looking to control any effects on a hardware or software instrument.
The Launch Control XL MK2 has 24 knobs arranged in 3 rows which is exactly like the mixer in Ableton as well as 8 precision faders. All these knobs, buttons, and faders can be assigned to virtually any parameter within your DAW. Whether you want to perform some movements on a synthesiser and record these actions within automation, or maybe you want to change filter settings on an insert to make your drop stand out even more.
Where this truly shines is when you combine this with the launchpad controller. You can use this duo as part of a live performance. For example; the Launch Control XL MK2 will let you control the send signal of a virtual instrument or audio channel in Ableton. Keep the performance elements of your set on the launchpad and use this strictly for creative effects and sends for the perfect combination.
