Inherits Features From The Club-Standard Pioneer NXS2 Setup

The DDJ-1000 comes with a brand new user interface which inherits a look and feel that is similar to the club-standard Pioneer NXS2 setup and includes a multitude of professional performance features. Such features include two full-sized jog wheels that make use of high-definition LCD screens, allowing you to view essential track data without the need to stare at your laptop. You can customise the information shown in the On-Jog screens like playback time, BPM, waveform and Hot Cue and Loop points to suit your exact requirements, enabling you to reference track information quickly. The 16 tactile multi-coloured performance pads (eight pads per deck) with switchable pad modes allow you to trigger Hot Cues, Samples, Beat Jumps and Pad FXs. A brand new Keyboard mode lets you play a Hot Cue in various semitones so you can create improvised musical phrases as though you were playing a synthesiser.

The DDJ 1000 is packed with Pioneer's legendary effects which include four Sound Colour FX and ten of the most popular Beat FX from the DJM mixer series. Also, the Controller features four brand new Beat FX; Enigma, Mobius Saw, Mobius Triangle and Low Cut Echo. These effects provide an intense rising or descending sound, perfect for a whole host of new mixing techniques. You can use the effects to add creative flair and unique textures to your mixes, while a dedicated Beat FX display means you can view reference BPM and the selected FX name without needing to look at your computer screen.

Other performance features found on the Pioneer DDJ-1000 include an advanced super-fast search function, which grants you the ability to reach any playback position instantaneously. Key-Shift and Key-Sync buttons give you direct control over Rekordbox's key-related features, such as page function that lets you switch between two banks of Hot Cues (totalling 16 overall Hot Cues per deck). The included Magvel Pro crossfader, inherited from the popular DJM-S9 scratch mixer is robust enough to withstand even the most vigorous scratch routines.

Dual USB Ports For Both PC and Mac

Dual USB ports for both PC and Mac grants you the ability to have two laptops connected simultaneously; this ensures that DJ changeovers are no longer over-complicated and can be executed with ease. The DDJ 1000 digital controller also doubles as a stand-alone DJ mixer thanks to four external input terminals that let you connect additional DJ players and analogue turntables without the need for a PC/Mac. The two microphone inputs allow you to include an MC in your sets without having to worry about a complicated setup. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs enable you to connect to a range of outboard gear such as speakers and front-of-house mixers while a booth output lets you monitor your master output.
