Control quickly and precisely with the OLED screen and performance pads

The PLX-CRSS12 takes design cues from traditional turntables while adding 4 programmable Performance Pads that can be controlled through MIDI to bring your most-used functions right at your fingertips. They are conveniently located immediately below the platter, making it easier than ever to trigger Hot Cues and samples throughout a set, which is especially useful if you are using a mixer without pads. You can easily switch between pads 1-4 and 5-8 with a single button, and different pad modes are supported out of the box (see below). The pads can be mapped to additional functions via MIDI as well.

Built-in support for pad mode:

• Serato DJ Pro - Hot Cue, Sampler, Stems, Scratch Bank, Roll, Saved Loop, and Scratch Bank.
• rekordbox - Hot Cue, Sampler, Track Separation, Sample Scratch, Pad FX1, and Beat Jump.

The integrated OLED screen makes it easier to keep your eyes on the deck. When Step Pitching in Analogue or Digital Vinyl mode, you can keep track of the tempo range and the key, and when using Digital Vinyl mode, you can also check the BPM, the key, the deck number information, and the name of the software you are using. You will not need to take your eyes from the stage to check your laptop or mixer because the display offers you instant access to the utility settings.

No digital playback skipping thanks to tone-arm-free DVS control

The tone-arm-free design of the PLX-CRSS12 ensures that needle skipping will never occur, no matter how hard you scratch. You can get the authentic vinyl experience without the tone arm thanks to the innovative MAGVEL CLAMP, which secures a record with the touch of a finger and immediately controls the digital audio file. The sound quality of playing vinyl records will be identical to that of the widely used PLX-1000 deck.

Superior, constantly developing audio

Give the listeners your music in its optimal form. The PLX-1000 professional DJ turntable is well praised for its faithful audio reproduction, and the PLX-CRSS12 was designed to improve upon this. High-resolution audio is achieved by using a switching power supply to remove noise and vibration caused by the transformer. The chassis is constructed of high-mass die-cast zinc on top and 8 mm of resin on the bottom, in an effort to minimise vibration transfer through the chassis and improve sound quality. Similar to the PLX-1000, the RCA terminals are constructed from machined gold-plated components, and the phono signal is delivered directly through a secure connection with the plug in order to faithfully replicate the music from vinyl records.

Feeling adapted to fit your preferences

The MAGVEL CLAMP features a dial that may be adjusted for the ideal "weight" setting. Torque will be adjusted to make the record lighter or heavier without requiring any slip mats or slip sheets to be replaced or readjusted. In addition to the utility settings, the turntable features a toggle that allows you to select one of three stopping speeds for the deck.

Replaceable MAGVEL CLAMP

You can store the MAGVEL Clamp neatly in a deicated area on top of the deck, where it's held in place magnetically. Additional clamps are also available to buy if you want to take your own set on the road to use in venues where a clamp may have been lost, or if you want to keep spares at your own venue.

Black matte finish, sturdy construction

The matte black finish of the PLX-CRSS12, together with the specific coatings on the tone arm and other metal parts and the finely made details, gives the turntable a sturdy and sophisticated look.

DJs can use both Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox

Both Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox can be used with the PLX-CRSS12. Connecting this unit to a computer running compatible DJ software and a mixer that supports the DVS function of that software enables you to use the Performance Pads while playing in Digital Vinyl mode.
