The Pioneer HDJ-1500k DJ Headphones are sturdy and strong yet durable and lightweight. They have an impressive, sleek design and provide clear and sharp sound output, just what you’d expect from having the Pioneer design team behind them. The ear pads are made of urethane memory foam and sit comfortably on the ear, good to know if wearing them for long sets.
The headphone construction is made up of a sturdy frame with magnesium alloy parts and has copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils, 38mm broad diaphragm and 50mm driver units which ensure fantastic balanced sound across all frequencies and precise replication of those deep base notes. The exclusive soundproofing chamber eliminates external noise which allows DJs to easily monitor the beat in even the loudest of venues.
The HDJ-1500k Headphones are available in both chrome black or deep silver and look amazing in every situation or venue. The headphones are also supplied with a handy carry pouch making their portability even more effortless.

Outstanding sound output
The headphone construction is made up of a sturdy frame with magnesium alloy parts and has copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils, 38mm broad diaphragm and 50mm driver units which ensure fantastic balanced sound across all frequencies and precise replication of those deep base notes. The HDJ-1500k is ideal for use with any unit and always produces clear and sharp sound output. Not only do the components play a part with the precision sound but also they have lower impedance which provides more sensitivity and the output levels are 1dB better than the HDJ-1000 headphones.
Exclusive soundproofing chamber
The exclusive soundproofing chamber eliminates external noise which allows DJs to easily monitor the beat in even the loudest of venues. The HDJ-1500k headphones are 4dB higher than the HDJ-1000 with regards to the sound insulation surrounding the low and medium frequencies, 300Hz to 1300Hz. This is the result of eliminating the background noise from the in-built isolation chamber on the bass reflex port.
Sturdy and comfortable design
The Pioneer HDJ-1500k Headphones are sturdy and strong yet durable and lightweight. They have been designed to live up to professional use through the use of lightweight magnesium hinges, the adjustable headband and the cable, which is attached to one side, can be replaced if damaged or just good old wear and tear occurs.
The ear pads are made of urethane memory foam, which not only suppresses external sound but also sits comfortably on the ear, good to know if wearing them for long sets. Dependant on DJ preference, the ear pads are able to be interchanged with the HDJ-EP01s open-cup protein leather ear pads (sold separately).
Carry pouch
The headphones are supplied with a handy carry pouch making their portability even more effortless. The headphones are also suitable for use with the HDJ-HC01 carry case. Both include a section where SD cards and USB memory sticks can be stored.
