Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ Professional All‑In‑One DJ System

Pioneer XDJ-XZ - the wait is over! The rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro all-in-one DJ System is here in the form of the XDJ-XZ. The fully-loaded controller comes complete with a massive range of features, a sturdy and robust chassis, and the feel of using the club-standard Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 professional multi-player and DJM-900NXS2 professional DJ mixer.

The media support on the XZ is superb. You can choose whether you want to use USB drivers, connect your laptop and use rekordbox DJ, or use Link Export mode to play tracks from your rekordbox library directly. Failing that, there is the bonus of connecting external sources such as turntables, samplers, CDJs or smartphones to channels 3 and 4, while the Pro DJ link allows you to browse and select tracks from the CDJs.

7" LCD Touch Screen and Full-sized Style Jogwheels

The XDJXZ boasts a 7-inch LCD touch screen providing vital information at a glance. There are two full-sized jog wheels which incorporate On Jog Display in the centre of each. The colour screen displays offer crucial information such as waveforms, BPM, Hot Cues and more. All this visual information available means you can concentrate on performance factors rather than looking at the laptop. The full-sized jog-wheels are ideal for mixing and make scratching feel like you are using the CDJ2000NXS2.

Familiar NXS2 Layout

The unit is crammed full of buttons, knobs and controls, with the bonus of a familiar NXS2 layout. You can mix with 4-channels and proceed to use the 14 Beat FX and 6 Sound Colour FX to add ‘feel’ to your performances. Included on the XZ are 16 Multi-coloured Performance Pads (eight on each deck), three USB inputs (two top-loading and one laptop connection) ideal for smooth transitions, 2 Line RCA inputs, 2 Phono RCA inputs, 1 AUX RCA input and 2 Mic XLR and ¼-inch TRS jack inputs. Additionally, there are 2 Master XLR, and RCA outputs, 1 Booth ¼-inch TRS jack output, 2 Phones ¼-inch stereo phone jack and 3.5mm stereo mini-jack outputs and 1 Send ¼-inch TS jack output.

Hi-Quality Audio 

The XDJ-XZ produces fantastic, lucid, and high-quality audio thanks to the systems advanced features and being able to adjust to the environment you’re playing in. You can fine-tune your mix using the 3-band EQ on the Master Output. You will find a 3-band EQ on each of the mic inputs too for exceptional control. Additionally, there is a Feedback Reducer feature that will reduce any ‘howling’ frequency should it arise from the mics. No worries there then!

Pro DJ Link

Now, let’s move on to talk about the Pro DJ Link. The Pioneer's XDJ-XZ is the first all-in-one DJ system to incorporate it. It’s a feature that allows you to flawlessly sync external equipment, for example, connect CDJs to channels 3 and 4 and then sync the audio to the mix. You can also browse tracks on a USB device from either of the connected units.

Rekordbox 6 & Serato DJ Pro Ready

Following an amazing firmware update earlier in 2020, not only is the XZ fully Rekordbox ready, it is now fully compatible with Serato DJ Pro. Just ensure both the software and hardware are updated to their latest versions to take advantage. The robust, sturdy and high-quality DJ System is undoubtedly well-equipped. It even comes with a grab handle to make transportation and set up a breeze. It is ideal for a variety of locations/venues including a professional setup for a bar, club or event, or even as a fantastic highlight within a home studio.

Rekordbox 6.0 is Pioneer DJs latest Music Management software version. It brings with it a mixture of new and improved features including a 3 tier subscription plan (one being free), the addition of Cloud Library Sync, Mobile Library Sync, Ableton Link, Inflyte support, 3Band Waveform, dark/light skin setting, ability to add video files to audio playlists and being able to add tracks from streaming services to playlists.
