RCF SUB 905-AS II 15-inch Active Subwoofer

The RCF SUB 905-AS II is an active subwoofer that is fitted with a 15-inch woofer and a next generation 2200w digital amplifier that provides an extremely high output, incredibly low distortion and a very clear natural sound. The 905-AS II makes an ideal addition to any 12/15-inch satellite speaker system and is perfect for the RCF D-Line, Art 7 or 4PRO range of speakers.

On the rear of the subwoofer lies an innovative input board that gives you stereo XLR inputs as well as XLR link-crossover outputs alongside a crossover frequency switch that can be changed from 80Hz to 120Hz. This subwoofer features an integrated DSP with a range of presets to choose from so it can quickly adapt to the RCF satellite speaker you match it with. The 2200w amplifier comes with a robust mechanical construction that is made of aluminium and helps stabilize itself during transit and dissipates heat without the need for a fan.

The 905-AS II features an input sensitivity encoder control that allows you to set the signal level that is being inputted to the sub; the encoder ranges from a gain reduction of +99dB all the way to 0dB gain reduction. Alongside this is a XOVER preset section, the XOVER gives you a selection of 24dB/octave high and low pass filters so you can get the exact sound you want from your PA system.

The SUB 905-AS II subwoofer is made of robust birch plywood and is coated in a textured heavy-duty epoxy; the sub also uses a bass-reflex design that helps produce an extremely high sound pressure level while also drastically reducing distortion.
