The RCF HDM 45-A speaker improves performance by including a high-quality two-channel amplifier, RDNet networked management, RCF precise transducers, FiRPHASE processing, and a tough enclosure. While being one of the most powerful composite material speakers in its class, HDM 45A produces clear, precise, and smooth sound from low to extremely high volumes, with little distortion and rapid transient response.
The HDM idea is inspired by the touring industry, packing maximum durability and robustness for rigorous usage on the road into a beautiful and lightweight cabinet. When paired with the RCF HDL System speakers, it is ideal as a major front of house speaker in PA systems, a high-powered floor monitor, or an inconspicuous infill system.
RDNet is a powerful management network and control platform designed for small, medium, and big arena-sized sound systems, as well as difficult and lengthy instals. RDNet, which is based on a unique network protocol, allows for straightforward control and monitoring of all linked devices/objects in the RCF audio system. Each device has DSP to address particular presets or parameter changes to single or groups of objects. A network user may adjust the volume, delay, EQ (including linear phase FiR) and other parameters, including complex subwoofer setups. RDNet isn't only for loudspeakers; you can use it to manage the settings and routing of several RCF devices, such as digital matrices or amplifiers.
Linearity is constant from extremely low-level inputs to the highest amplifier output. A 32-bit floating-point DSP with 48 kHz processing does the following tasks:
A newly designed algorithm handles the frequency dependent soft limiter, providing the listener with the same system linearity from extremely low-level inputs to the highest amplifier output.
