The new Mackie MR624 speakers come with a brand new design that makes use of a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer alongside a 1-inch silk dome tweeter to deliver a pristine sound with a dynamic low-frequency response. These speakers feature acoustic tuning technology that aims to provide you with absolute clarity and excellent accuracy.
The MR624 studio monitors come with a full frequency response that ranges from 38 Hz all the way to 20 kHz, and for a well-balanced mix, the loudspeakers feature a logarithmic waveguide that works to give you an in-depth listening sweet spot for an enhanced stereo image. The rear of the MR624 features an Acoustic Space Control which allows you to control the speaker’s frequency response according to the sound of your studio; this aims to optimise the speaker for its environment ensuring you always get a flat frequency response. Whether you’re mixing down some hard electro or hip-hop or laying down some vocal tracks, you can always be confident your mix will sound great on any other speaker system.
The MR624 speakers are housed in a sleek all-wooden cabinet enclosure that looks professional in any studio; they also include a custom-designed internal brace that provides additional stiffness for reduced distortion and a dynamic low-end response.
