The Yamaha CHR10 is a two-way passive loudspeaker that features a top-quality 10-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch high-frequency driver. The cabinets plywood construction is the same as that found on Yamaha’s renowned CZR Series, which ensures precision sound and minimal vibration. The CHR 10 features a rotatable horn that allows the speaker to be installed horizontally or vertically. In addition, there is the option for the unit to be used with a U-bracket and having rigging points for eye bolts and pole socket for use with a stand.
Compatible DSP
The CHR Series has full use of DSP technology through using a power amplifier with DSP and speaker tuning settings. It doesn’t have to be a Yamaha power amplifier. It can be any power amplifier. Just as long as the system and speakers are compatible, it will work seamlessly.
Speaker Casing
The CHR10 speaker housing is robust, durable and scratch-resistant, thanks to the polyurea coating. It can withstand transportation without compromising on its look and will robustly protect the components within.
Flexible Speaker Location
The CHR10 can be positioned either horizontal or vertical, thanks to the rotatable high-frequency horn. Additionally, there are several flexible connection options, including rigging points for eyebolts, pole sockets for speaker stands and the potential use of a U-bracket.
